In its latest round-up of new restaurant openings, Eater Houston spotlights Montrose Country Club as one of the city’s most dynamic additions of the season. The venue, located at 202 Tuam Street, blends upscale hospitality with a distinct local pulse—bringing together a restaurant, day club, nightclub, and 65-foot temperature-controlled pool under one concept.

Opened on March 14, the multi-million-dollar space is the latest from nightlife visionary Jeff Harmon, known for shaping Houston’s cultural landscape through venues like Rebar and Rich’s. The Montrose Country Club aims to be more than a destination—it’s a curated social experience.

At the heart of the concept is a chef-driven restaurant led by Chef Diego Chiarello, whose menu brings Italian, Cajun, and Southern influences into bold harmony. Signature dishes include crawfish etouffee egg rolls, fried goat cheese balls, French onion meatloaf, and chicken piccata, alongside comfort-forward pastas, flatbreads, and brunch-ready plates.

Memberships are available for guests seeking VIP perks, but the venue is intentionally accessible—day passes start at just $20, inviting Houstonians into a luxurious-yet-welcoming space that feels like part resort, part neighborhood hangout.

As a brand dedicated to curating visibility for standout lifestyle and hospitality projects, SULLTRAIN is proud to support this launch and celebrate the cultural evolution of Montrose.
