The Early Years

Mark Sullivan launched his first communications firm, On the Mark, with a vision to offer clients more than publicity—he delivered precision storytelling, long-term brand development, and media relationships built on trust. His early success earned him a reputation as one of Houston’s most connected and respected voices in public relations, serving influential clients across business, philanthropy, and culture.

In 2024, Sullivan joined forces with Jay Fields and The Fields Companies to establish SULLTRAIN. That same year, SULLTRAIN stepped onto the cultural stage as a sponsor of Houston’s iconic Art Car Ball, marking a commitment to storytelling not just in business, but in the arts.
